(More customer reviews)Since I took up double edged shaving about a year ago I have been through a lot of different creams and shaving soaps. The very tip of your brush gets into the jar and there is perhaps a third of a dime's worth of shaving cream on your brush you will have enough to lather your face three or even four times. Lots of lather and looking back I see that a third of a dime is too much.obviously you will want to oil your face before applying the cream. Grape seed oil (the cooking oil not the massage oil) is perfect. You can always go to Whole Foods and purchase a fragrant oil to add. And BTW, the massage oil is the best massage oil I have found. I appreciate that like razor blades each of us need to s=choose which blade is best, which pre-shave oil is best, which shaving crean is best and the answer for one man may well not be the answer for everyone.
