(More customer reviews)I decided to try this out and see if it would work for my needs because of its ingredients and price. I wasn't expecting much but after trying it I love this serum!
I live in the south where there is tons of humidity and usually need something in my hair before I flat iron it. I have coarse thick hair and had been using other products that left my hair oily after I flat ironed it. I just thought it was the trade off for wanting straight hair so I had learned to accept it. This serum changed that whole idea. It's much lighter than anything I've ever used before but at the same time has enough weight to it to stay in my hair.
I apply a few drops to my hair after a shower and then blow dry it. After this I flat iron my hair and it's immediately noticeable how healthy my hair looks. It leaves my hair with a sleek shine to it and doesn't look overly oily or "wet" at all. So far, it has stood up to the elements and my hair still looked good after the third day.
It has a noticeable rose/herbal scent but I couldn't pick up any notes of coconut. I actually like the smell and it doesn't linger all day but if you're sensitive to smells I don't know if you would like it.
Overall though, I have to say I'm very satisfied with this product and encourage others to try it.
