(More customer reviews)I ordered a 1 gallon bucket of extra virgin traditional philippine processed coconut oil through this company for a second time. the first time around was happy with product and delivery. this time around however when i received the oil today inside the box the bucket was already half ajar when i pulled it out to futher inspect you could also see brown spots at the bottom of the bucket (within the oil itself) indicating the product had turned bad. I called the wilderness family 800 number from my invoice and was rather annoyed when they instructed me to return it to them so they could inspect if for themselve to determine if indeed the product is bad. So not only did i originally pay $54.95 for the product plus $10.95 for shipping but now i have to pay to return it to them because i have no use for it. The thing that annoyed me most about this is that in the past when i have ordered food items online on the rare occasion when there has been a problem with that product the supplier has always paid to either have it returned to them or told me to discard the product and then promptly replaced it. some companies have even given me some of their other products as well for the inconvenience. It is beyond me how a company who is clearly making alot of money from these coconut oils insists upon having the customer come out of pocket again to return it to them. I will be finding another company to purchase my coconut oil from in the future.
