(More customer reviews)I decided to give this brand a try because SPF 4 is becoming more difficult to find. I usually use Hawaiian Tropic as that is in every store but not spf 4. PJ has a vanilla scent which is different from the usual coconut/tropical scent. PJ also is a little thinner in consistency compared to HT Dark Tanning Lotion SPF 4 - 4 oz,(Hawaiian Tropic). After using HT for a week, and then using PJ for a few days, I noticed that my skin was more dried out the next day with the PJ. I did notice that I got redder using the HT but not with the PJ. I think it may be that the PJ is more waterproof and uses a different type of active ingredient, Octinoxate (6% Sunscreen) and HT uses Octocrylene (1%), Oxybenzone (.5%). I may try to mix them and see but the only thing i didn't like is my skin being more dry, other than that I like this sunscreen.
