This is a wonderful soap made from lots of great oils from the amazon. This is a great soap for all skin types, but excellent for dry skin. Almond Oil is an outstanding humectant with natural water-retention properties, it is an oil extracted from the seeds of sweet almonds and used as an emollient. Almond oil is an emollient which prevents dehydration of skin, it is often used to treat very dry skin. Avocado oil soothes and softens your skin and is rich in vitamins A, D and E; contains proteins, lecithin and amino acids. This highly therapeutic oil is said to have healing and regenerating properties. Coconut oil is the natural oil derived from coconuts, acts as a surfactant and has good cleansing properties.Hazelnut oil reduces oiliness, refines pores, normalizes and heals. Hazelnut oil is moisturizing, easily absorbed by the skin. Palm Oil is from the fruit of a palm tree. When used in soaps, palm oil creates a hard, long lasting bar of soap that is mild and cleanses well. I have no allergies or history of product reaction, and my arms and chest are currently covered with a serious ichy, painful rash from one use of this product. I did some internet research and found numerous people with same complaint. I contacted the Vasoline company, who said they would get back to me and, of course, have never been heard from again. I've had the rash for a week now and its not much improved. I'm thinking lawyer and class action lawsuit.

Palmers Cocoa Butter Scar Serum 1 oz. Review

(More customer reviews)As a bodybuilder and BMX rider, I was plagued with some rather large and unsightly stretch marks and scars, which gave me a lot of experience in trying different things to remedy them. And I must say, as both a stretch mark and scar treatment, this is a strikingly inadequate product. For less than $9.99, you can get between 4 and 15 oz. of a Palmer's brand Cocoa Butter formula with better ingredients. While Vitamin E and Cocoa butter do help, they will do very little for a product you'll spend so much time rubbing in, and hold out so much hope for.
Your best bet, though more expensive, is to find a product with a "transport" mechanism that will bring the nutrients and moisturizers underneath the skin, where the bulk of the scar is. One example of this is liposomes, found in Body Shape Hydroderm.
And for those combating stretch marks, other very important ingredients are:
1)Collagen and elastin (found in Palmer's Stretch Mark Creams and many lotions for skin, both for under $9.99). Elastin, surprise surprise, lends to you skin being more elastic and resistant to new stretch marks, while collagen helps to "fill up" or restore the empty space left by the dermal tear that causes the mark.
2)Dimethicone (silicone), cocoa butter, jojoba, aloe, or any ingredient with "PEG" in it. These are effective moisturizers of the scar and stretch mark grade.
3)Vitamins A, C, and E. Vitamin C is the best hope among vitamins for restoring scars, but only when mixed with collagen, I would argue. Vitamin E (Tocopheryl Acetate), should slow any progressive scars or marks. Vitamin A is mostly preventative, so you may need it for your lotion, but not for your 2-minute rubbing sessions on scars (be VERY disciplined on these, by the way!).
I used Body Shape Hydroderm, which I think is discontinued, but I would recommend going with Strixaderm-MD 6oz, available on Amazon.com for about 1/3 of the cost of StriVectin-SD, if you really want the scar to go away and your budget will allow it.
Also, if you're using one of these restorative formulas, your best bet is to stack it with a collagen-infused lotion, butter, or rub. If you are looking for an all-over-the-body lotion to use in addition to a scar treatment, the best I've found is Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Skin Therapy Lotion (White bottle with gold trim). It can be found in most drug stores for around $15 for 14 oz. and has Vitamin's A, C, and E, as well as dimethicone, jojoba, aloe, collagen and elastin.
Lastly, if your scar is more than 6 months old, there may be some benefit to be had, but consider seriously whether you will want to burden the costs. A $60 Strixaderm-MD oz. tube lasts 6 months on 9 inches worth of scars or marks (You'll need to go between 3 to 6 months on pretty much any scar, and a full 6 months on pretty much any stretch mark, new or old). If you're dealing with major stretch marks, chances are you've got a more of that to go, so consider whether the stretch marks are worth the cost to you if you're dealing with old ones for which most cheaper cremes are relatively ineffective. Most of all, good luck, and I hope this review has helped!

I am a black woman with medium skin tone, and my skin rarely responds to all these products. However I was really amazed with this product. The marks faded away in just 2 days, I have now finished the whole bottle and will no doubt buy a 2nd one. Please note that the marks do not go away completely, however their appearance is significantly reduced.

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula With Vitamin E Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased this last year; I actually purchased the one that is a stick. I loved it so much that I decided to buy the cream. I'm not much into creams really, but this one is so AMAZING!!! I put it all over my body and makes skin feel very smooth and nice. Blemishes were gone as well as scars. And on me, it also prevented future breakouts. I don't mind the stretch marks, and yes, it says those will fade also. Like someone else reviewed, I haven't seen that part yet, but again I don't mind the stretch marks. I'm really concerned about my blemishes and the scars those leave on my skin. Within just some days on some, on some weeks on older ones, the scars faded. The product has a nice sweet smell, but I don't want to smell like candy either. I usually use it at bedtime after I exfoliate, and then, in the morning, skin looks amazing!! I totally love it!! Here's a hint: You can buy this at Walgreens for less, of course, no shipping, and even in a bigger bottle. Mine is 17oz, it costs less than this one, and it lasts for months and I use it all over my body!!! I have used other products, prescribed and over the counter, and none of those gave results that were even near to Palmers. I have noticed that a cheap and GENTLE product like this goes a long way compared to other brands, other products, and even medications. Usually medications are very harsh on the skin and even produce breakouts. I have a very sensitive skin, and this cream is absolutely amazing! Love it!! 5 stars!!! Highly recommend this!!!!

Our wonderful handcrafted soap is made of only the finest coconut and palm oils available. The lather is amazing. Our palm kernel oil makes a hard bar of soap that lathers in almost any water. In the morning, my feet felt as if I had put a facial mask on it and left it to dry. I had to rinse my feet because of the squeaky residue (which would have happened anyway if I had waited to get in the shower). It made my feet softer and it smells pretty darn good, too.
