(More customer reviews)I don't suffer from dry or frizzy hair, but I like to do intense conditioning treatments since I tend to dye and bleach my hair several times a year. I tried this on a whim, not having used many oil treatments in the past. Generally, I apply the product in the evening after a shower and sleep with it in with a towel around my head or at least laying on the pillow. I did this with this product since there are no harsh chemicals that would burn through if left in too long.
First off, you will smell like salad dressing with this in. No two ways about it, it's rosemary, it's oil, you will smell like salad. It's not a bad thing mind you, but if you're sensitive to the scent or don't want to smell too strongly for a day or two, it's not a product for you. I personally love the feel of an oil treatment and the rosemary is very pleasant, so this was a great product for me.
Second, it worked amazingly well! My hair felt incredibly soft and pliable. Soft to the point that I couldn't even do anything with it. It just wouldn't hold well since it was so nice. This is easily an oil treatment that I would get again.
Third, the bottle is small, but depending on how much you use and how long your hair is, you can get a few applications out of it. With shoulder length hair and using enough to soak through but not drip everywhere, I got 2.5 uses out of it (half because it didn't really soak through well on the last application since I didn't have enough).
Only drawback, this *is* messy. It's oil, it's hard to clean up and get off your hands. Make sure you do it in the bathroom, have adequate coverage for your clothes and pillow (if you sleep with it in) and wipe it up. It's not a thick oil, it pours quite well, and it's easy to get everywhere if you're not careful!
