(More customer reviews)I've been a fan of bamboo shoots for years, but have always struggled with finding quality product in a can.
My search is over. While another reviewer is correct that these are not big slices, they are not chopped bits either. I happen to prefer these smaller slices to the big, sometimes tough, slabs in other products. The flavor is mild, but you still get a hint of that bamboo shoot funk, the texture is a soft crunch.
The other night I rinsed a can and dumped it in my rice cooker with rice, coconut milk and green curry paste for a one pot meal.
The package arrived undamaged with no dented cans.
