(More customer reviews)First, a health warning: NEVER use self-lighting charcoal to light your hookah. If you do, you'll be inhaling the residue from the chemicals used to get the charcoal to light quickly. Not good!
This brand of charcoal is probably the best for a number of reasons. First, the charcoal is made from coconut husks so, no part of the living tree is used. Second, even though I have to light these on a stovetop burner, once lit, they burn steadily and leave little ash. And again: because these are not self-lighting, I'm not adding anything unwanted to my hookah experience.
