(More customer reviews)This product is actually pretty amazing when it comes to detangling thick super kinky 4c type african-american hair. I'm not a big fan of the strong fragrances, but the Tui is very mild and pleasing. When I put it in my hair and it melted the tangles away almost instantly, I was sold. I haven't yet come across anything that works better. And the spray is a nice light mist, so even though I use it generously it lasts a long time because just the right amount sprays out.

(More customer reviews)I was apprehensive about the Curls product line because the founder was inspired to make her products based on her hair type which is not at all like mine. Nevertheless, due to the hype, I decided to purchase this product (and two others) and this one worked the least. In fact, this one does not work at all on my dry, coarse, kinky curls. After using the Whipped Cream (which I keep trying in hopes that it works), my hair remains without moisture and crunchy. Other products can do better but then again...it's important to note that these products that target "kinky and/or curly hair" work differently for everyone...just as other commercial products do.
