This creamy coconut cream pie bar is a taste of the heavens. Literally and figeratively. Figurately because they taste so good, it tastes like food of the heavens, plus they are so healthy. Literally because they are made in Denver. I just got back from a little vacation in Denver and Colorado Springs; Colorado is as beautiful as a slice of heaven.
These bars are healthy. They are made with fruits and nuts. There are no added sugars, chemicals, preservatives, etc.
These bars taste awesome. It is amazing to me how they can make the bars taste exactly like whatever the flavor is. For example, cherry pie bar tastes exactly like cherry pie; pecan pie bar tastes exactly like pecan pie, etc. This review is for coconut cream pie, and these bars tastes exactly like coconut cream pie.
These bars are vegan-friendly.
These bars are good for anyone on a diet, or anyone who is health-conscious.
These bars are convenient. They can be packed into lunches or snacks; there is no mixing or measuring or cutting or cooking required.
These bars are just awesome!!!!
And this bar, coconut cream pie bar, is absolutely outstanding!!!!!

(More customer reviews)I have used these when taking a break on really long mountain bike rides. I put these right up there with cliff bars in restoring some deep down energy. I actually like these a bit better, though, because they're more moist - a nice benefit when you have a dry, dehydrated mouth from exertion.
The taste is great too. Not gritty like (most) other nutrition/energy bars.

(More customer reviews)I find typical granola or snack-mix bars too dry, too sweet, not sweet enough, or just plain boring - not what I would savor as an afternoon snack instead of peanut M&Ms. Larabars (even the non-chocolate varieties) pack the perfect mix of sweet and tart and other sensations to tantalize your mouth and keep you from mindlessly munching on crap food.
I received the 16-bar box as a Christmas gift and took them traveling - and had my husband, who normally turns up his nose at "nutrition bars" - reaching for them on long flights or day trips! A friend who avoids laboratory-sounding ingredients loved the ingredients list - each bar only contains the ingredients you would expect to find. Another friend was intrigued by the coconut flavor even though he typically hates sweetened, gloopy coconut.
A firm favorite AND a crowd-pleaser - I'll be stocking up on these for a long time to come!

(More customer reviews)you know when you out running errands and you start getting the hungriness. you drive by 30 fast food restaurants knowing its easy. well break the habit by putting this in you purse/murse and have a thermos of water- your set. I didn't realize it was two servings per bar- sill better that a burger and fries-
I also keep them in my work locker, the area is climate controlled, so no worry about early spoilage due to heat.
the Taste to me is great- I love coconut and the almond bits give a variety to the texture. I am truly full when I eat a whole bar- perhaps I could try to cut down to half a bar and see if it will still do the job. Strongly recommend a full bottle of water with it.
