(More customer reviews)I am not a tea connoisseur, but this is my favorite tea so far. Silky, smooth, with a complex yet perfect balance of flavors, it has a hint of spiciness and a hint of sweetness from the coconut, which is subtle yet definitely present... I added one packet of stevia (Truvia) and a touch of milk inspired by the other reviews, and it feels like a dessert without the overwhelming sweetness. I will certainly be trying Zhena's other flavors! I just wish Amazon sold the refill bags so as to support the company's effort to be green even more.

Description of my tastes first, to maybe help profile the kind of palate that finds such a totally happy match. During the warm months I drink a lot of iced tea, and my favorite tends to be ginger blends. During the cold months, I tend to gravitate a bit more towards heartier tea, particularly black chais.
Now, where this Celestial Green Chai stands out -- it's that it excels so well in both roles, excellent both as summertime iced tea and as a wintertime hot tea. No other tea have I found to be so equally enjoyable both hot and cold.
I drink many kinds of tea, always fun rotating, but it is this one which has achieved the place of Numero Uno for my enthusiasm and enjoyment.

(Ah, and not forget the bonus is that it contains ingredients that are good for you...the green's antioxidant phyto thingy going on, and the ginger that's good for the tummy etc)

(More customer reviews)I first tried this tea at Einstein Bros. Bagels, and it is the only tea the we drink now. It has the greatest flavor, and is the finest tea that I have ever tasted. I have offered it to many friends that do not like tea and they have tried it and loved it. We all like it without cream or sugar, the flavors are so rich and vibrant that it easily stands on its own.
Harney & Sons even somehow got my boyfriend off of soda, he bought a bunch of different flavors and has them with his meals instead now. They compliment meals very well, and are a wonderful way to start your day and unwind in the evenings.

(More customer reviews)I ordered this tea and instead of receiving Pomegranate Rose Tea, which I have had before and which I love, I was sent Pom and Petals Tea. I tried it thinking it might be the same tea with a new label and new container. It is NOT the same tea. Pomegranate Rose tea was a delicious, aromatic tea that came in a lovely container, but appears to have been discontinued by Zhena's. Pom and Petals is a disappointing, bland tea in a dull container. Pomegranate Rose tea is no longer advertised at Zhena's website. I called Vitamin Shoppe directly to ask if they had Pomegranate Rose tea rather than Pom and Petals. The sales person assured me that they did, so I placed a large order, thinking that even though the tea appears to have been discontinued, perhaps Vitamin Shoppe still had some left. To my enormous disappointment, the tea sent was again Pom and Petals. They are now allowing me to return it at their expense. I can't fathom why Zhena's would change from making their wonderful Pomegranate Rose tea to making Pom and Petals, which is what you now get when you order Pomegranate Rose.

(More customer reviews)We got this tea when World Market stopped selling their holiday Republic of Tea Spicy Chocolate Mint tea, which we loved. This is not the same, but is also very good. It has less caffeine than the World Market tea because it's Oolong instead of regular black tea. The mint and chocolate both are delicately flavored and not heavy, so you can taste both (and the underlying flavor of the tea) and none is overpowering. Good choice for breakfast.

(More customer reviews)I love (nearly) all things coconut and this tea is no exception. First, the scent of this tea is phenomenal. When I received it, I opened the box and just kept sniffing the tea. It is heavenly. When I was finally able to pull my nose out of the bag, I made a cup and the earth stopped moving, all my troubles melted away and I was filled with a coconut induced happiness.
The flavor is incredibly smooth. Each day, after drinking this tea, I look at my other teas and say "maybe I will resume drinking them tomorrow." I cannot resume drinking them because I enjoy this tea so much and the other teas pale in comparison. I occasionally add a little agave but I find the coconut flakes add a natural touch of sweetness to this brew.
All of the packaging for this tea is eco-friendly. So you get a deliciously crafted tea from a company that is earth friendly. Highly recommended.

(More customer reviews)I am a big fan of the high quality of Celestial Seasonings products and their usually good tea blends. This particular blend does not make the cut. I want to like it but somehow the coconut does not really work in this tea. The aroma is artificial coconut, and the flavor is a strange somewhat musty coconut flavor without noticable chai spice. Drinkable but an eccentric blend--perhaps a diehard coconut lover would find this appealing.
Celestial Seasonings gets extra points for their packaging: they utilize 100% natural recycled paperboard in their boxes and they don't package each tea bag individually. Instead they use a system of a waxed paper bag inside the box that stays shut when you fold it. It keeps the bags fresh and utilizes less packaging than individually wrapping each bag. The art they use on each box is beautiful as are the quotes and information they put on every surface.
