Well..OMG..the Mint Coconut have nothing I am sensitive to in them and taste fantastic. I carry these with me to keep me from ever feeling deprived while out and about in the world and they work!

(More customer reviews)I find typical granola or snack-mix bars too dry, too sweet, not sweet enough, or just plain boring - not what I would savor as an afternoon snack instead of peanut M&Ms. Larabars (even the non-chocolate varieties) pack the perfect mix of sweet and tart and other sensations to tantalize your mouth and keep you from mindlessly munching on crap food.
I received the 16-bar box as a Christmas gift and took them traveling - and had my husband, who normally turns up his nose at "nutrition bars" - reaching for them on long flights or day trips! A friend who avoids laboratory-sounding ingredients loved the ingredients list - each bar only contains the ingredients you would expect to find. Another friend was intrigued by the coconut flavor even though he typically hates sweetened, gloopy coconut.
A firm favorite AND a crowd-pleaser - I'll be stocking up on these for a long time to come!

(More customer reviews)Being from New England, we grew up clamming and cooking chowder because that's what we do here. Our children are gfcf and we tried this soup and they didn't like it. I thought it was just ok, a bit gelatinous. Two WONDERFUL suggestions: 1) If you know how to make Rhode Island clam chowder you will know that there isn't any cream in the recipe - just lots of clam broth thickened a bit with either corn starch or tapioca starch. 2) If you like it creamy New England style - you CAN make it with "So Delicious" Coconut Milk or creamer which I don't see on Amazon yet. The milk comes in a 64 ounce carton and is wonderful for baking and cooking and just plain drinking!!
If you're not used to the authentic homemade New England "chowda", then this soup might be just fine for you to satisfy that clam chowder taste.

You have to be careful what you put this one as it has a definate coconut after taste and for some garlic and coconut dont mix. I used this on garlic pastaDe Boles Pasta Organic Garlic and Parsley Angel Hair, 8-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12)and it was great. I use this to cook eggs and then put salsa on and makes great mexican fiesta eggs. I made garlic toast and some of my family just could not get over the coconut after taste so if you do not like coconut do not buy this.

They've recently changed the recipe, as the bars taste slightly less "dark-chocolatey," but they're still delicious. Don't be confused by the toasted almond label. There are very few tiny slivers of almonds, and the bars honestly taste more like a dark chocolate rice crispy bar than anything with nuts. Overall, I prefer these to all other gluten free bars. If only they were slightly less expensive!

Most of the protein bars I've tried that have a high protein count also have a high calorie count AND often taste like cardboard. The Simply Bar Lemon Coconut has 17 grams of protein with only 140 calories. It is light, chewy and tasty. I have the protein bar with a piece of fruit in the morning for a breakfast under 300 calories. Also a good choice for those on a gluten-free diet. The price is a little high, but I haven't been able to find the bars any cheaper anywhere else. I also tried the Simply peanut butter chocolate bars, but they were not as good as the lemon bars.
