I recently tried Sticky Toffee Pudding in the 4 oz room spray and it's definitely become my favorite -- I can't get enough of it! On the other hand, my mother loves the Waffle Cone and I ordered her 2 bottles from the Demeter website ($14 each, plus flat rate shipping) and they came smelling nothing like the waffle cone she loves. It almost smells rancid like whiskey. There's no problem with exchanges -- that's what their website says anyway. I don't know if it's the room spray version that is bad or if they reformulated, but I'm going to send it back and pay the extra for the cologne version.
As for other scents I've tried:
Sugar Cookie - Very very sweet. A little too sweet for me.
Brownie - An artificial chocolate smell, but not offensive. Doesn't last very long.
Graham Cracker - Hard to find the scent in the sea of alcohol in the product.
Waffle - Very maple syrup-y.
Strawberry Ice Cream - Very artificial owerpowering scent. Almost like a very concentrated strawberry Quik. (Strawberry milk powder brand.)
Scottish Shortbread - There is some sort of oil in the mixture and when it arrived it was nearly frozen. I didn't care for this smell either. sort of an almond cookie smell but also masked by the alcohol smell.
Mojito - Ick. My mom received this as a promo item somewhere and it smells like a hospital to me! I'm not sure which component of Mojito smell is doing that to it, but I'd pass.
There's a Jelly Belly line scent that has something to do with blackberries. It was a pretty harsh scent. Not light and airy -- very contrived and strong. Over the top but not in a good way. Same goes for the Blueberry Muffin in the Jelly Belly line.
Vanilla Cake Batter - Not very exciting. Very vanilla, not very cakey.
I reviewed the Rubber and Mesquite scents on Amazon somewhere -- pass on those.
Before you invest the money, go to the Demeter site and get the $5 1/2 oz splash version of the scent you like. Or just get the Sticky Toffee Pudding. ;)

(More customer reviews)Being from New England, we grew up clamming and cooking chowder because that's what we do here. Our children are gfcf and we tried this soup and they didn't like it. I thought it was just ok, a bit gelatinous. Two WONDERFUL suggestions: 1) If you know how to make Rhode Island clam chowder you will know that there isn't any cream in the recipe - just lots of clam broth thickened a bit with either corn starch or tapioca starch. 2) If you like it creamy New England style - you CAN make it with "So Delicious" Coconut Milk or creamer which I don't see on Amazon yet. The milk comes in a 64 ounce carton and is wonderful for baking and cooking and just plain drinking!!
If you're not used to the authentic homemade New England "chowda", then this soup might be just fine for you to satisfy that clam chowder taste.

(More customer reviews)I've just went to Whole Foods and grabbed several different brands of acai juice. This o.n.e. brand so far has been the worst tasting acai juice I have ever tried. My best recommendation is to head to Ralphs or Whole Foods and grab the Bossa Nova acai juice which in my opinion is the best tasting acai juice (not to mention the most pure/not from concentrate juice/no added cane juice). Stay away from this one.

(More customer reviews)These are delicious - crunchy, with a nice firm texture and only a faint banana flavor (the fruit loses its sweetness during the drying process, and only added sugar makes it taste like its fresh form).
Other banana chips do tend to have a lot of saturated fat, but that's because they're fried in coconut or palm oil. The Barry Farm chips are only dried bananas, and they contain 0.7 grams of sat fat in a one cup serving - which is about half the bag. They are high carb, but they're also high fiber and cholesterol free.

I tried this and I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor and quality. This is a great tasting soup for a cold day or when you just want something different than the typical chicken and noodle soup. Mae Ploy Thai Yellow Curry Paste - 14 oz jar Review

(More customer reviews)New to Thai cuisine, I asked to try a milder curry, my tastes running to a maximum of medium heat. Yellow curry was recommended, and the coconut milk based Thai version was a treat with both seafood and chicken-something I've had occasion to order again and again.
So when trying to re-create the taste sensations above, I was less than thrilled at the idea of grinding individual spices, purchasing a number of pricey ingredients with limited shelf life and narrow applications.
I did some research and found that many Thai housewives rely on the time and labor savings of using high quality curry pastes as the basis for soups, curries and more. Mae Ploy was one of the brands repeatly mentioned as high quality and fresh tasting.
This brand comes in a handful of flavors and heat levels, with the Yellow Curry Paste being the first I was eager to try. It has a shelf life of 2 years, and the large plastic pouch also keeps very well nestled in its own colorful tub in the refrigerator.
The flavors of lemon grass, shallot, gingery galanga, kaffir lime peel, warm spices and red chili are very well balanced. This is the only Mae Ploy Curry paste without shrimp paste, making it vegan-suitable as well as delicious with shellfish, fish or fowl.
I like to snip off one corner of the clear packet, then squeeze out just the amount I need-anywhere from 1/2 teaspoon to 2 Tablespoons, depending on the recipe. This helps to maintain freshness and flavor and avoid waste.
For Thai curry, I will combine the Yellow Curry Paste with a small amount of chicken broth, then add 3/4 Cup more broth per person, plus a can of coconut milk to mellow and round the flavor. A cup or two of chunked seafood or chicken, plus cubed potatoes and onion-simmered together for about 30 minutes- makes a very satisfying dish to serve with either traditional sticky rice or more the more occidental long grain variety.
Mae Ploy's Thai Yellow Curry is also delicious with just a bit added to your favorite dip, salad dressing, or try a teaspoonful combined with 1 cup of sour cream or plain yogurt 'painted' over your favorite fish fillets and baked just until cooked through, (about 15-20 minutes at 325).
The fine quality of this product has encouraged me to order another flavorful curry paste-also excellent-and I would highly recommend this product for those wishing to re-create favorite restaurant fare at a reasonal price, without tedious preparation.

(More customer reviews)Bought this popcorn salt looking for an alternative to pouring/dripping butter over freshly popped corn...nothing worse than soggy popcorn. I have always loved the salty/buttery taste of the movie theater popcorn, but couldn't find anything similar until now. This stuff is really delicious! The only complaint I have is that the container cap/lid has the double opening, so that you can choose to just pour it on or choose to sprinkle it over the popcorn. Unfortunately, the sprinkle holes in this cap are huge, so there's no sprinkling the salt around evenly, it just pours out anyways. To remedy this situation, we've purchased an extra salt shaker and just refill it when needed. That way, we can get the popcorn salt sprinkled on evenly without overdoing it.

(More customer reviews)We found out about CurrySimple's Thai Coconut Curry Combo Pack because one of Amazon's editors had written a compelling post about it on one of the Amazon blogs I subscribe to in my reader. I think the title of the post was something along the lines of "Thank you, CurrySimple!" We bit. What a find! This is a great product - we 'simply' add CurrySimple's spice mix into a bowl of chicken or tofu, rice and some vegetables and - Viola! - we've got a dish on par with the offerings of the best Thai restaurants. It only takes minutes. We've resolved to always have CurrySimple in the pantry.
The Combo Pack is the way to go. It's the best value, and all five products are winners. It's tough to choose a favorite from amongst the red, yellow, green and Masaman curries. Even the Coconut Soup is a winner...we had it once as a soup, then fashioned the second packet as a serviceable curry substitute.

The taste is not bad and they are a quick healthy breakfast or snack, but nothing revolutionary. My brother and Mother also bought these and had the same reaction. I tried the chocolate raisin and the chocolate raspberry. My brother claims the coconut is the best, but I have not tried that flavor. I prefer Clif Nectar bars. I think they taste better and the consistancy is not as strange.
