This is a wonderful soap made from lots of great oils from the amazon. This is a great soap for all skin types, but excellent for dry skin. Almond Oil is an outstanding humectant with natural water-retention properties, it is an oil extracted from the seeds of sweet almonds and used as an emollient. Almond oil is an emollient which prevents dehydration of skin, it is often used to treat very dry skin. Avocado oil soothes and softens your skin and is rich in vitamins A, D and E; contains proteins, lecithin and amino acids. This highly therapeutic oil is said to have healing and regenerating properties. Coconut oil is the natural oil derived from coconuts, acts as a surfactant and has good cleansing properties.Hazelnut oil reduces oiliness, refines pores, normalizes and heals. Hazelnut oil is moisturizing, easily absorbed by the skin. Palm Oil is from the fruit of a palm tree. Well, today, I have very nice third day hair (and for you air-drying or Pixie-curl-diffusing/scrunching curly-heads, you know how hard it is to have nice second day, much less third day when your have a tight and frizz-prone dry hair type, like a 3b).
This product is the only one I've tried (and I've spent hundreds in the past three months searching for good curly hair products) that has given my hair enough moisture to leave it moist the next day. The only one that tamed my straw-like ends into softness for 24 hours. (I lose moisture like mad, highly porous color-treated hair).
I had intended to get this strawberry scent (which I've heard rave reviews about), but by accident I got the gardenia coconut one, which has a fragrance much more pleasant than I expected. So, either one smells good, and you can pick which you prefer, berry or floral-tropical.
I strongly recommend the Curls in a Bottle by Curl Junkie to go with this product. CIAB made my clumps and curls stay beautifully formed (even when I finger combed, they REFORMED), and this Curl Rehab kept my uberdry hair moisturized enough not to decurl into a frizz-bomb.
A truly wonderful line. If you can afford it, and you want happy curls, get the Daily Fix for washing, the Smoothing Conditioner to rinse out, the Curl Rehab to leave in (and deep treat), and the CIAB to define curls. Wonderful stuff and it all smells GOOD.

(More customer reviews)I really went out on a limb for this stuff - it sells for $19.95 in stores. I could buy about 4 generic-brand shampoos for that price.
However - this stuff will last forever. I've gone through 4 washes already, and I'm still working on getting the excess off the jar's lid. I haven't even delved into to actual product IN the jar yet.
After just 4 washes, the difference is incredible. I have SO MUCH curly hair. It's big, uncontrollable, and hits the middle of my back. This shampoo makes my hair soft, textured, moisturized, and visibly most austere. BEWARE: this stuff is only for severe cases. I'm talking about BIG, curly hair. Otherwise, the stuff may be too powerful and may render you greasy. I don't know what exactly I was expecting out of this shampoo, because I had never even heard of the Lush brand before, but Curly Wurly has affected my hair in ways I did not think possible just by shampooing.
Buy it! You'll see what I mean.

This soap is classic castile soap-- lathers well, non-drying and makes your skin feet clean, well-nourished. I really like it, use it every day in the shower now and you get a pretty large bar. I would definitely recommend!

(More customer reviews)I'm a chemist and deal with caustic chemicals every day; it's very hard to find anything that can stand up to the abuse I put my hands and nails through.
~The hand lotion is very nice. It doesn't smell very strongly and leaves my hands feeling soft for most the day. It does take a few minutes to truly soak in, but there's no greasy residue when it does.
~The emery board is a nice one, but fairly run of the mill, I'd consider it an extra for the kit, but not the highlight.
~I love the cuticle oil. It's very light weight and has really helped heal my cracked and flaky cuticles in just a few weeks.
~Finally, I save the best for last: the buffer block. I've used similar products in the past, but this is the first one I've used that actually leaves my nails so shiny that they look like I've got wet nail polish on them. Even my clear coat nail polish isn't this shiny. With me, the polish lasts about 3-5 days (depending on what kind of chemicals I'm dealing with at work), but it's a real cinch to buff it back up if I feel like it.
Basically I'd highly recommend this product to my friends, but then they'd know the secret behind my nice nails.
