I also use it in my natural black (dredlock) hair as a moisturizing and herbal oil and it works just the same--without any greasy build-up in my hair or scalp. I also use it the same way on my 3 year old son, and we both agree, "It smells really good!" The scent is "almondy"--delicate, but not too overpowering. Also, what I like about the bottle is that the special design of the cap allows it to drip out rather than gush out. You can squeeze the bottle harder for increased flow, if you desire. I'm a happy customer with this product and will definitely purchase it again as well as sample other Alba Hawaiian products. Thanks!!:)

(More customer reviews)I got this item as a gift. I'd seen this brand before and always thought it looked good so I was initially very excited to use this.
The first time I used it, it was before bed. It seemed okay, but when I woke up in the morning, it looked like I hadn't washed my hair in weeks it was so greasy looking. I thought maybe I just didn't wash it out well enough so I gave it another shot. Bit in washing my hair it's like it just felt heavier the more I washed it, like there was stuff building up on my hair. I had to wash my hair 3 times with my old shampoo to get my hair back to normal.
On a side note, I'd usually consider my hair type to be dry to normal. I think your hair would have to be extremely dry before considering the use of this product.

Best shaving cream ever.
Smoothest shave.
Zero irritation.
And the fact that it goes on clear and latherless helps you get a clearer picture of the area to be shaved. I assume this would also be true for the ladies... and non-traditional gentlemen.
Better than using an electric, better than a brush-and-bowl, better than any other commercially available product I've tried, and I have tried most of them.

(More customer reviews)I was immediately impressed by the pleasant sensation of coconut lime cream on my skin. It's a sensation welcome during the hot days of summer, maybe not so appealing on cold winter mornings. My bathroom is colder than the rest of the house, and as a result the Alba usually goes on cold. I've even gone as far as running hot water over the tube to warm it.
The coconut aroma of this variety is so fabulous, one is almost tempted to taste it.
As with the Mango Vanilla formula, I enjoyed a smooth, close shave using the Coconut Lime Alba. The razor glided across my face almost effortlessly, resulting in an uncommonly close shave. I can't say that all shaves with this cream have been without nicks or cuts, but I've lost considerably less blood with Alba than I have with some of my bargain creams .
I prefer squeezing the shave cream out of a tube than using the conventional foam pressurized can because I feel I am better able to control the amount coming out of the container. A container of Alba lasts a long time too.
I've been very pleased with my Alba Coconut Lime shaving experiences and look forward to trying additional creams in the Alba family.

(More customer reviews)I understand why some have trouble with this product but I love it. I've learned that a cleanser doesn't have to have chemically induced suds to get a girl clean. This does the job and doesn't dry out my already super dry skin. I like that it leaves me feeling already slightly moisturized. I love the smell. I'm not wild about the bottle, sometimes too much comes out at once. All that said I don't get very dirty in my job, and I use it for the driest parts of my combination skin. I use Alba's pineapple facial wash for areas where I break out and after a strong work-out.
