(More customer reviews)I have been using Organic Root Stimulator products for years and recently when I noticed they added a heat protection serum I knew I had to try it.First of all the smell is very pleasant.The consistency of the serum is not thick at all it easily spreads through your hair and it leaves your hair non greasy and protects from the damaging effects of heat from the blow-dryer, flat iron and hot curlers. The serum also gets your hair straighter when using a blowdryer with the comb attachment.I highly recommend this product.This product will become a staple in my healthy haircare regimen.

(More customer reviews)Yes! this serum is greasy, but with natural curly/wavy hair that air drys this product truly is a god-send. I use it as the last step in my daily hair routine. First, I use Redken's Extreme anti-snap after towel-drying, then KMS California Curl-up balm - working both in with my fingers to re-shape the curl. After air drying or diffusing (20-30 min later), I use the Organix Shea butter liquid glass serum to smooth the frizz, and BOY! I look fab!!!
I get shiny, glossy, sexy hair that looks like glass - I have dyed mahogany/red curls so with this product I get the shine which = gorgeous!
So, this product may work for you or against you.
My review is for people with curly/wavy hair.
P.S. I've also found shampooing my curly hair once a week works best, but I do deep condition every other day and just rinse my hair in the shower when it feels itchy.

I have used many shampoos from the cheapy herbal essences to my old standby, the more pricey Aveda products or Tigi products I would buy at the salons.
This stuff works just as well as the salon brands and makes my hair smell fantastic. I get asked often how I keep my hair so shiney. I feel like this must be at least part of the reason, I don't do anything else special to it!
My hair looks great, smells great feels great. My husband loves giving me hugs because he gets a whiff of this wonderful scent.

(More customer reviews)I'd been hearing hype about CJ products, old and new. I decided to try them. Well, today, I have very nice third day hair (and for you air-drying or Pixie-curl-diffusing/scrunching curly-heads, you know how hard it is to have nice second day, much less third day when your have a tight and frizz-prone dry hair type, like a 3b).
This product is the only one I've tried (and I've spent hundreds in the past three months searching for good curly hair products) that has given my hair enough moisture to leave it moist the next day. The only one that tamed my straw-like ends into softness for 24 hours. (I lose moisture like mad, highly porous color-treated hair).
I had intended to get this strawberry scent (which I've heard rave reviews about), but by accident I got the gardenia coconut one, which has a fragrance much more pleasant than I expected. So, either one smells good, and you can pick which you prefer, berry or floral-tropical.
I strongly recommend the Curls in a Bottle by Curl Junkie to go with this product. CIAB made my clumps and curls stay beautifully formed (even when I finger combed, they REFORMED), and this Curl Rehab kept my uberdry hair moisturized enough not to decurl into a frizz-bomb.
A truly wonderful line. If you can afford it, and you want happy curls, get the Daily Fix for washing, the Smoothing Conditioner to rinse out, the Curl Rehab to leave in (and deep treat), and the CIAB to define curls. Wonderful stuff and it all smells GOOD.

(More customer reviews)I really went out on a limb for this stuff - it sells for $19.95 in stores. I could buy about 4 generic-brand shampoos for that price.
However - this stuff will last forever. I've gone through 4 washes already, and I'm still working on getting the excess off the jar's lid. I haven't even delved into to actual product IN the jar yet.
After just 4 washes, the difference is incredible. I have SO MUCH curly hair. It's big, uncontrollable, and hits the middle of my back. This shampoo makes my hair soft, textured, moisturized, and visibly most austere. BEWARE: this stuff is only for severe cases. I'm talking about BIG, curly hair. Otherwise, the stuff may be too powerful and may render you greasy. I don't know what exactly I was expecting out of this shampoo, because I had never even heard of the Lush brand before, but Curly Wurly has affected my hair in ways I did not think possible just by shampooing.
Buy it! You'll see what I mean.

Natural Red Palm Oil 16 oz (454 grams) Liquid Review

this is partially solid, orange in color so be careful when using.
african american badly damaged or dry hair:
1.put on dry hair (unwashed), work through hair thoroughly (2-5 min.)
2.leave on for at least 5 additonal minutes (can cover with cap and leave on longer).
3.warm rinse (there will still be a lot of the oil in your hair when done rinsing)
4."wash" out WELL with your favorite conditioner (NO SHAMPOO) then warm rinse.
5.repeat with favorite conditioner and warm rinse again.
6.work 'sweet almond oil' through your hair and rinse well.
7.towel dry using a damp washcloth (less damaging than a dry towel).
8.work a VERY small amount of any heat protection conditioner through hair (do not rinse).
9.dry and style hair as usual but DO NOT add any oil/grease/pomade to hair
*note: a hand held hair dryer is less damaging than a blow dryer
your style will be smooth, shiny, soft and 'lay right'. gets better with each treatment.
other races for dry hair (brunette or darker - not sure if it will stain blondes)
1.follow steps 1, 2 and 3 above
2.Shampoo and rinse as usual (repeat optional)
3.condition and rinse as usual
4.dry and style hair as usual
hair will be smoother, shinier, soft

(More customer reviews)I've been using these products for over a week and I am pleased. The conditioner is a little strange. It's very watery, but feels very oily on the hair. However, and the reason I don't give it a five, it rinses too clean. If I run my fingers over my hair after I rinse it, they skid across my head. That means my hair is getting stripped of it's natural oils, and you actually don't want that. I have very long, fine, thin hair, and this leaves it with some body. It also leaves it less tangled, easier to brush, no static or fly-aways. The smell is over-the-top wonderful! And I can smell it in my hair all day, even until I go to bed. With some alternative treatment, like a hot-oil every now and again, I think this combo is great!
