I live in a very dry part of the U.S. in the winter, and it performs fantastically. Has actually made it possible for my hair to grow much longer than it usually does and no split ends! But stupid Walmart has decided that nobody cares about beautiful hair in my town and surrounding towns and has stopped carrying it...ugggh...that's why I'm here!

I love the Organix shampoos (both the vanilla and coconut lines) and, after reading the ingredients, decided to try the mousse too. Most of the time I spend big bucks on my styling products as the cheaper brands usually weigh my hair down too much and leave it kinda greasy or dull looking, but man-oh-man I am soooooo glad I tried this. It comes out of the bottle like whipped egg whites and easily distributes through my wet hair (I have long hair), I then blow dry with a round brush and dang it if I don't get a well-behaved but fluffy, bouncy, smooth and shiny head of hair. Also, when I layer with the shampoo and conditioner, I am told it smells delicious. No greasies either. Thx Organix for not testing on animals too.

This conditioner has something in it that does not allow frizzy or curly hair to really soften, maybe the fragrance in it, who knows. But the shampoo is worth every penny.

With my hair being color treated (bleach and low-lights) I also look for products that will keep my hair soft, minimize breakage and not affect my color. This product line exceeded my expectations. Because I am licensed, I normally only buy professional products. I tried this because it is NOT tested on animals and sadly most professional products ARE. I live in the South where it's quite humid...This kept the frizzies under control. I noticed I could run my fingers through my hair after shampooing and before applying the conditioner. Normally, I have to use conditioner to be able to do this. For what it's worth, my fiance noticed that my hair was smoother and said it smelled wonderful...Wanting to know if I had tried the new mango/citrus shampoo and conditioner I had bought. Hours and hours later, he said my hair still smelled really nice. Most products don't linger this long, but I like when they do. I also did not have to apply hair smoothing cream like I normally do...Just a little leave-in conditioner and my hair dried with some really nice waves in it. If you have curly or dry hair, definitely try these products. And, you can't beat the price.

I have purchased several jars over the last several months, at different locations, and this product no longer is any good - at all. The jar I just opened was supposed to be good until 2011 - it was totally bland, and looked old. I don't know what Thai Kitchen is doing - but - their curry pastes are bland. It seems like the curry is very old. Or, the jars are not sealed properly. I have even sent emails to Thai Kitchen about this. This vendor has a problem. Go to an Asian market and get a real curry paste. It makes a WORLD of difference. (I'm sorry Thai Kitchen - but you need to get it together !!)

Lobo brand Thai Tom yum soup mix - 1.06 oz each (5 packs) Review

(More customer reviews)Tom yum gai is my favoite lunch order at Thai restaurants. I've made it from scratch before but that is very cumbersome. This is my favorite tom yum soup base, much better than Taste of Thai cocoanut ginger soup base. Be advised it is pretty spicy!
Here's what we do; it only takes a few minutes. This is a recipe for a meal for 2 or first course for 4.
1 to 1.25 lbs chicken tenders, cut into 1-2" cubes (never frozen is best; putting in frozen chicken makes it too tough)
1 can straw mushrooms, drained and rinsed
1 package of Lobo tom yum paste
4 cups chicken broth
1 bunch of cilantro, rinsed and stripped for the leaves
2 cups or so of freshly cooked rice (I start the rice cooker just a bit before starting the soup)
fish sauce
limes
chopped green onion or chives
1. Place chicken broth in pot with straw mushrooms and tom yom paste; bring to light boil/high simmer
2. Add chicken cubes - these will cook in a matter of minutes; check so it does not overcook
3. Turn off heat, add cilantro
4. Put a 1/2 cup or so of rice into the bottom of your soup bowls (the more rice, the more substantial the meal)
5. Top the rice with a generous serving of soup
6. Garnish to taste - I use a quarter of a lime, a squeeze of fish sauce and a sprinkle of chopped chives
If you make the tom kai, I use the same recipe except half and half cocoanut milk and chicken broth

(More customer reviews)I got this as a last minute substitute for Thai Kitchen organic coconut milk, which was out of stock. I recently had a need for coconut milk and tried a can.
One sip was all I needed. I threw out the whole can and don't know what to do with the rest of the case (paper weights, maybe?). I consider it a huge waste of money.
The taste was terrible. This stuff tastes to me like Milk of Magnesia. It is really that bad.
Now, I will admit that I have never tried "lite" coconut milk of any kind before, because the whole idea of "low fat" coconut milk is ridiculous - the fat contains most of the nutrition. In fact, the whole "low fat" thing has been shown to be scientifically and nutritionally unsound.
I will certainly never buy "lite" coconut milk again, and I am now definitely wary of this brand's real coconut milk. Next time, I will just go without.
If you like the taste of Milk of Magnesia, then enjoy.

(More customer reviews)The contents are very thick about 2/3's of the can and the bottom 1/3 is mostly liquid, so you do need to dump and scrape the entire can and stir it a few times. My comparison for flavor and quality is to Thai Kitchen which is the brand I used to buy mainly because of its availability. The difference is night and day. It appears AMAZON as a seller is no longer carrying this product, so I will try the organic version of Roland's brand next as it has many positive reviews as well. I paid around a dollar sixty per can which was quite a deal for this organic quality. Roland brand is currently about two dollars per can. Honestly this brand is so creamy and tasty that I use it in many things to replace milk and especially when baking Dr. Oetker's muffins. My cats enjoy it as a special treat. It is one of the few food items that has so many health benefits and tastes wonderful.

(More customer reviews)I ordered a 40-pack of KTC's Creamed Coconut. However, it was an unpleasant surprise when I opened the package and removed the shrink-wrap around the 40 single boxes of creamed coconut: almost all of them were oily - some looked as they were submerged in oil.
Ok, mishaps can happen, I said to me. I contacted customer service and told about the problem. I received a replacement. Unfortunately, the same problem, yet worse. Now practically all of the 40 7-oz. or 200 gram boxes were oily.
Out of curiosity, I opened a box and saw that the coconut cream was placed in a very thin bag. At first glance, I couldn't figure out where it leaked. Yet, when I pressed gently the bag began leaking out from tiny holes. The longer I held the bag the more the creamed coconut warmed up and the more it leaked. How can someone dare to sell creamed coconut in such crappy bags?!
Once again, I contacted customer service,yet this time for a refund!
Avoid KTC creamed coconut! Instead, buy Let's Do Organic's Coconut cream. It costs slightly more but it is organic and has a good taste and IT IS WELL PACKAGED. I just pay $12.70 for 6 7-oz boxes of Let's Do Organic Coconut Cream with Amazon's 'Subscribe & Save' offer.

It contains 70% coconut milk versus the usual 55% most of the other brands contain (and many brands do not even list this fact), so you are getting more coconut flavor in each can. The one big thing we DO NOT like is that it contains preservatives. This brand does not seem to be available without it; we checked their website. So, even though we like it, we are trying other brands without preservatives. This contains coconut milk--70%, water and potassium metabisulphite (E224). As yet, we have not been able to find another brand of coconut cream similar to this. We DO like that there are clear, easy to decipher, production and expiration dates on each can. Many brands do not do this. Hope this info is helpful!
